1. We choose swimmers with drive. If you want to swim and you work hard, you have a place here.
2. We keep every swimmer in the water. Drive gets you in. We make sure nothing else takes you out.
3. We care about the whole swimmer. School, health, behaviour, and how you treat other swimmers all matter. We coach a person, not just a body in the water. A fast swimmer who acts badly is not a success here.
4. We build for the top of the sport. We are not just building a club. We are contributing to Rwandan swimming, and we will compete with the best swimmers in the world.
5. We are built by Rwandans. We are led by Rwandans. We will learn from coaches and experts from any country. But Ishyaka Swim Club has always been, and will always be, Rwandan coaches training Rwandan swimmers.
